Food Pantry Ministry

Covenant Church partners with City Church Space Coast, which hosts a weekly Second Harvest food distribution center on Thursday mornings.

City Church provides food to 180-200 families each week. Volunteers talk to and pray for the families in line, if the family is open to it.

If you are interested in helping to provide free food to families in our community who need it, please read the following instructions:

1. Individuals or small groups purchase food to donate to the food pantry.
   • Desired food items include canned vegetables/beans/soups, pastas/sauces, peanut butter/jelly, crackers, cereals, granola, bars/cereal bars, fruit (can or cups), canned tuna/chicken, rice, baby food
     
2. Send a picture of your receipt(s) to foodpantry@covenantpalmbay.org.
   • Covenant’s Mercy Team will match the amount that you spent on food donations and will send a check to the food pantry program for the same amount. This additional funding is used to purchase perishable foods such as milk and meat.
     
3. Drop off food at City Church Space Coast
   • Church address: 344 Emerson Dr NW, Palm Bay
   • Drop off hours:
     • Mon-Wed | 9am – 4pm
     • Thu | Noon – 4pm
     • Fri | 9am – Noon

We believe that good deeds build up good will, which can then lead to sharing the good news.

In addition to feeding our neighbors, our prayer is that collective acts of service will soften hearts and lead some of these folks to come to church, hear the gospel, and come to faith in Christ.
