Stephen Minister Training
Covenant’s Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one care ministry. This ministry serves the church by pairing a trained Stephen Minister with a member who is struggling with life’s hurts. The minister meets with the person weekly to offer Christ-centered, compassionate, confidential care.
This fall, we will be training a new group of Stephen Ministers. If you know that God has gifted you to be a good listener and to empathize with those who are struggling, and you love encouraging and praying for people, you might want to consider becoming a Stephen Minister.
Most training sessions are on Tuesday evenings, with a couple exceptions:
- September 8 (Tue), 6:30-9:30pm
- September 12 (Sat), 8:30am-1:30pm
- September 15 (Tue), 7-9pm
- September 22 (Tue), 7-9pm
- September 29 (Tue), 7-9pm
- October 6 (Tue), 7-9pm
- October 13 (Tue), 7-9pm
- October 20 (Tue), 7-9pm
- October 27 (Tue), 7-9pm
- November 3 (Tue), 6:30-9:30pm
- November 10 (Tue), 7-9pm
- November 17 (Tue), 7-9pm
- November 22 (Sun), 9am and commissioning during service
