Caring genuinely for the deepest needs of people

Hubb Support, 6/12/2018

Care Ministry

In a world of apathy and selfishness, we care for the deepest needs of people.  Care begins with self-care.  Activating and utilizing resources and abilities that God has already provided demonstrates ownership of one's own needs.  The primary delivery of care at Covenant is through our small group ministry.  In these small communities, many needs (meals, prayer, encouragement, counsel & visitation) are met.   Sometimes the needs of an individual are beyond the capabilities of a group.  Covenant's Care ministries are designed to augment the care provided by our small groups.

Recovery Groups

For some of life’s challenges, we need a safe place to share without condemnation.  These groups allow us to grow in our recovery or healing with others who are sharing a common struggle.  Currently we offer Recovery and Sexual Abuse support groups.

Prayer

In a world of self-reliance, we find power when we look to God rather than to ourselves.  “And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.”  (1 John 5:14)
